Compassionate Listening Seminar for Healthcare Providers

In partnership with Grand View University, we’re excited to offer the compassionate listening seminar which will examine the role of mentoring and coaching in the healthcare setting, by exposing the individual to the why, how, and what of compassionate listening. The ability to compassionately and actively listen to peers, families and patients is imperative in the healthcare industry. As a result of this seminar, the participant will become well-versed in active listening practices and will learn the discovery learning methodology, which is easily implemented within the workplace.
In addition, everyone who passes the course gets one free coaching session with Malinda Shultice to help process the material and brainstorm ways to put it into action in their context. The cost per person is 750 dollars. This program has been approved for 12.5 CEUs.

This program is approved by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards. For additional information, contact NAB at 1120 20th St., NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20036, (202)712-9040, or www.nabweb.org.
